Build a quiz, scorecard or personality test that shows results
Set up scoring
- In the form editor, switch on Scoring.
- Pick a Result Type. Points / Score adds up points, and Personality / Outcome picks the top dimension.
- In each choice field, give every option its points. For Personality / Outcome, also pick the dimension each option counts toward.
Add results
- Points / Score: under Results, click Add score range and give each range a title and text.
- Personality / Outcome: type a dimension label, click Add, then fill in that dimension's result.
Collect contact details
- Set Contact Gate to Contact info before questions or Hold results until contact info.
- Keep Submit With Results on, so answers are saved and emails go out.
In Focused mode, Answer Feedback can show right or wrong after each answer. Tick Correct on the right options.
Limits
- Only choice answers score. Typed answers aren't graded.
- With Submit With Results off, nothing is saved and no email goes out.
- A contact gate works in Stepped and Focused modes.
- Answer Feedback works in Focused mode only.
- Quiz results don't show in your submissions or CSV export.
- A quiz shows its result screen and skips any redirect page.
Common questions
What does "Title is required." mean?
A result has no title. Give every result a title.
Why do visitors see "Thanks, here are your results"?
Their score fell outside your ranges. Make the ranges cover every possible total.
Can I start from a template?
Yes. When you create a form, open Templates and pick Personality quiz or Lead scorecard.
