Choose an icon for a card or feature from the icon library

Pick an icon

1. Click an icon in a section. Its field opens with Library, SVG and URL tabs.
2. Click the thumbnail to open the picker on icons.
3. Search, and pick a weight: regular, thin, light, bold, fill or duotone.
4. Click an icon, or pick one under suggestions from the icon library.
5. Style it with Size, Variant, Color and Radius.

Set the icon style for your whole site

1. In the sidebar, click themes and open your theme.
2. On the Layout tab, pick an Icon style.
3. Publish the theme.

The icon picker, icon suggestions and new sections use this style. Icons already on your site keep their own style.

Limits

• The icon library is Phosphor. For other icons, paste an SVG or an icon URL.
• Icons added by URL keep their own colors.
• Suggestions need the card to have a title.

Common questions

What does "Give this card a title and Pixel will suggest icons for it." mean?

The card has no title yet. Add one, then open the picker again.

What does "This section changed while the picker was open. Open it again to pick an icon." mean?

Someone edited the section while you picked. Open the picker again.

Can Pixel change the icon style?

Yes. Ask, for example "Use duotone icons for new sections". Pixel sets it in your theme draft, and publishing the theme needs your approval.
