Choose your website fonts and text sizes

Pick your fonts
- Open your theme from themes and click Typography.
- Click Heading font or Body font. Search, or filter by Sans, Serif, Display, Script or Mono.
- Or open Pairing and choose a ready-made pair.
- Under Weights, set Light, Regular, Medium and Bold.
Set your text sizes
- Scroll to Type scale.
- Choose a Body size from 14 to 18 pixels, and a Headings style: Compact, Balanced or Dramatic.
- To fine-tune a size, drag its number in the table left or right. Hold Shift for bigger steps.
- Click publish.
Limits
- You can use any Google Font, plus Satoshi. Uploading your own font files isn't available.
- If a font doesn't come in a weight you set, your site uses the nearest weight it has.
- Sections use one of nine sizes from the type scale. You can't set a pixel size on a single element.
- Picking a Headings style rewrites all nine sizes, the line heights and the letter spacing.
Common questions
What does a note like "has no 700" mean?
That font doesn't come in that weight, so headings use the closest one. Pick another weight or another font.
What does "Line height is smaller than the size" mean?
Lines of text will overlap. Raise the line height for that size.
Why don't my new fonts show on my site?
Publish the theme, and make sure it's your active theme.
