Find images: search your assets, get suggestions, use stock photos

Search your assets by describing the picture

1. In the sidebar, click assets and pick a type: image, video or PDF.
2. Type what the picture shows in search..., such as "team in a meeting room".
3. Pick from the top matches.

Pixelesq writes a description of every image and PDF you upload, so search finds files by what they show.

Use suggestions for a section

1. Click an image in a section that has a title or text.
2. Click the button on the Media thumbnail to open the picker.
3. Pick an image under suggestions from your assets.

Use a free stock photo

1. In the picker, open unsplash.com and type a search.
2. Click a photo. It goes straight into the section.

Limits

• Search shows the top 10 matches for one file type. There's no search by exact file name, tag or date.
• Search can't find SVGs, videos or audio by what's in them.
• Suggestions show up to 8 images and can include Unsplash photos. They're on Launch, Grow and Scale, and during the trial.
• Stock photos are linked from Unsplash. They aren't copied to your assets and don't count toward your file limit.

Common questions

Why don't I see suggestions?

The section has no title or text yet, or the project is on the limited plan. Add text, then open the picker again.

Can Pixel find an image for me?

Yes. Click the image and ask, for example "Replace with a stock photo of a team meeting". Pixel shows up to 3 choices and a Generate one card. Click Use this on the one you want.

Search found nothing. What can I try?

Clear the search, check the file type and try simpler words.
