Why your changes are not showing on your live site

Check each of these

  1. The page: open it. If publish shows, click it. A page marked "Published, with draft" has edits that aren't live yet.
  2. The header or footer: open it from partials and click publish.
  3. The theme: open it, click publish, and make sure it's your active theme.
  4. Visibility: a lock or a crossed-out eye on the page means it's locked or hidden. Check Visibility in Page settings.
  5. A schedule: if the page shows "Scheduled", click it and choose Publish now.

Limits

  • Saving never publishes. Only publish puts changes live.
  • Pixel's edits stay drafts until someone approves a publish.

Common questions

What does "Your latest edits have not reached the server yet" mean?

You may be offline. Publish again once your edits sync. Nothing is lost.

I published a blog post, but its page is blank. Why?

The collection's template isn't published. Open the template and click publish.

Why doesn't my new post show in my blog list?

Lists show published entries only. Publish the post.
