Write and publish an SEO article from a keyword

Queue a keyword

1. In growth, open Keywords and click the pen (Write article) on a keyword.
2. Or open Content, type a topic and supporting keywords, and click Write.
3. The article is queued. Click Generate on it when you're ready.

What Generate does

Pixelesq builds a draft from research. It reads the top search results for the keyword, outlines the piece in your brand voice, and adds a cover image, internal links, an SEO title and a description. Then it scores the draft so your team knows what to edit. Follow the steps in Activity.

Review and publish

1. In Content, rows marked Ready for review show a score, such as 78/100.
2. Click the row and read the Checks and Suggestions.
3. Click Open in entry editor to edit the draft.
4. Click Approve & publish. Or click Regenerate and say what should change.

Limits

• Nothing publishes until someone approves it, unless your team turned on Auto-Publish.
• Each plan includes a number of articles a month: 4 on Launch, 15 on Grow and 40 on Scale. Queuing a keyword counts toward it.
• The score is out of 100. Fixed checks give 60 points, such as an answer up front, 800 or more words, lists, keyword placement and internal links, and an AI review gives 40.
• Approving publishes the latest saved version of the entry and starts tracking its rankings.

Common questions

What does "Connect a content collection first" mean?

In Growth's settings, choose the collection that articles go to, such as your blog.

An article failed. What now?

Open it and click Regenerate.

Why does it say I've reached the article limit?

You've used this month's articles. Wait for next month, or upgrade.
