Add or change a link on a button, menu or logo

Add or change a link
- Click the link field on a button, menu item, logo or social link. It reads Choose a page or type a link.
- Search, or pick from Recommended, Pages, a collection, On this page or Used on this site.
- Or type an address, such as a full URL or a mailto:, tel:, sms: or whatsapp: link, and click Use as typed.
- Check the line under the field. It confirms where the link goes.
To remove a link, click Clear link.
Link to a section on the same page
- Select the section you want to link to. On the style tab, under Section, type an id, such as pricing.
- Select the button and click its link field.
- Pick the section under On this page, or type #pricing.
Limits
- Links to your own pages open in the same tab. Target applies to links to other sites, which open in a new tab by default.
- Files don't appear in the list. Paste the file's address instead.
- To link to a section on another page, type the page and the id, such as /pricing#plans.
- javascript: links aren't allowed.
Common questions
What does "No page at this address" mean?
The address has a typo, or the page was deleted. Pick the page from the list instead.
What does "No section with this id on this page" mean?
No section on this page uses that id. Check the id on the section's style tab.
Why does it say "duplicate id"?
Two sections share the same id. Give each section its own.
