Create it yourself

  1. In the sidebar, click collections. Click create collection, or open the collection switcher and choose create new collection.
  2. Choose Manual.
  3. Type a Collection Name. The Slug fills in from it.
  4. Tick Has Pages if each entry needs its own page, like a blog post.
  5. Click submit. The template editor opens next.

Or let Pixel suggest the fields

  1. In Create a collection, choose Create with.
  2. Fill in the name, slug and Has Pages, pick a Collection Type, add a short description if you like, and click submit.
  3. Pixel recommends 8 to 15 fields. Untick the ones you don't want, or double-click a field to edit it, then click Add Selected Fields.
  4. Click Publish Schema & Exit.

Limits

  • A collection's name, slug and Has Pages setting can't be changed later.
  • Every collection starts with the built-in Name and Slug fields.
  • Pixel's suggestions don't include Reference or Related fields. Add those yourself.
  • Each plan has a collection limit: 5 on Launch, 25 on Grow and 100 on Scale.

Common questions

What does "Failed to create collection" mean?

The slug is probably taken by another collection. Choose a different slug.

Why do I see "Time to upgrade!"?

You've reached your plan's collection limit. Upgrade, or delete a collection you no longer use.

Should my collection have pages?

Turn on Has Pages when each entry needs its own address. See How collections, entries and entry pages work.
