Duplicate a page to reuse its layout and content

Duplicate a page

  1. In pages, right-click the page and click duplicate. You can also click the copy button, Duplicate this page.
  2. Check the name and URL. The name starts as the page name with "(Copy)", and the URL ends in -copy.
  3. Click Duplicate. The copy opens as a draft.

Duplicate a page made from a collection entry

For a blog post or another entry page, pick the option to duplicate it as a new entry, such as "Duplicate as a new Blog entry (recommended)". Or pick Duplicate as a standalone page to make a regular page.

Limits

  • The copy is made from the latest draft, including changes you haven't published.
  • The SEO description, structured data and who can see the page aren't copied. Set them on the copy.
  • The copy counts toward your plan's page limit.

Common questions

What does "Failed to duplicate page" mean?

The copy wasn't made. You also see this when you've reached your plan's page limit. Delete a page you don't need, or upgrade.

What does "Slug already exists. Try another slug." mean?

Another page uses that URL. Change the URL and click Duplicate again.

Can Pixel duplicate a page?

Yes. Ask, for example "Duplicate the pricing page". Pixel makes a new draft with the same sections.
