Set up a blog on your website from start to finish

1. Check the Blog collection

1. Click collections and open Blog.
2. To add or change fields, click the blocks icon.

2. Adjust the post template

1. Click the folder icon to open the template every post uses.
2. Make your changes and click publish.

3. Write and publish posts

1. Click create, name the post and click submit.
2. Write the post, then click publish.

4. Add your blog page

1. In pages, create a page with the slug /blog.
2. Add a cards section and connect it to Blog. See Show collection entries on a page.
3. Turn on Pagination so a long list splits into pages, then publish.

5. Get posts ready for search

1. Right-click each post and choose edit meta to set its title and description.
2. In the collection's Search & structured data, pick Blog post.

Limits

• Pixelesq doesn't create the /blog page for you. Build it as in step 4.
• Posts stay drafts until you publish them, and the list shows published posts only.

Common questions

Why are my post pages blank?

The template isn't published. Open it from the folder icon and click publish.

How do I show only the 3 newest posts on my homepage?

Connect a cards section to Blog and set its Limit to 3, or ask Pixel to do it.
