Move, copy, paste or delete sections on a page

Move a section

1. In the panel, open the outline tab and drag a row by its grip. Or drag the handle at the top of a section on the page.
2. Or right-click the section and click move section up or move section down.

Copy and paste a section

1. Right-click the section and click copy section. Look for "Section copied".
2. Right-click any section and click paste section above or paste section below. Look for "Section pasted".

In the same browser tab, you can paste it on another page, partial or template.

Delete a section

1. Click the X on its outline row, right-click it and click delete section, or select it and press Delete.
2. Click Delete to confirm.

More right-click actions

Right-click a section for edit content, edit style, convert to partial and outline view. Right-click a title or another element to jump to its field.

Limits

• A copied section is kept until you reload the page.
• There's no separate duplicate action. Copy the section and paste it below.
• The right-click menu doesn't open while Pixel is writing a section.

Common questions

I deleted the wrong section. How do I get it back?

Press Cmd+Z, or Ctrl+Z on Windows, right away. See Save, undo and redo your edits.

How do I move a section to another page?

Copy it, open the other page in the same tab and paste it. Then delete it from the first page if you want.

Can Pixel move or copy sections?

Yes. Ask, for example "Move the FAQ above the contact form" or "Copy the testimonials section to the pricing page".
