How it works

Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants connect through the Pixelesq MCP server at https://mcp.pixelesq.app/mcp and act as you. They can do what your role allows, so Owners and Editors can make changes and Viewers can't.

Stays a draft until you publish

• New pages, and changes to pages and sections.
• Changes to your header and footer.
• New entries, and changes to entry content.

Ask the assistant to publish when you're happy, or publish from the editor.

Goes live at once

• Theme changes, unless you ask for a draft.
• Form changes.
• SEO details, such as titles and descriptions, on published pages.
• Redirects.
• Collection fields.
• Entry names.
• Deleting a published page or entry.
• Publishing pages and entries, and unpublishing pages.

What assistants can read

• Your pages, sections, entries, collections, forms, assets, redirects and theme.
• Traffic, visits from AI assistants, Google search performance and indexing. Search answers need Search Console connected.

What they can't do

• Create or delete projects.
• Unpublish entries.
• Delete collections, forms or assets.
• Create a new header or footer.
• Change domains, tracking, team, billing or other settings.
• Connect Search Console.
• Read or change leads and chatbot settings.
• Generate images in Claude. ChatGPT and other tools can.

Which assistants work with Pixelesq?

Claude, ChatGPT and other tools that support remote MCP servers with sign-in, such as Cursor and VS Code. See Connect Claude and Connect ChatGPT.

What does "Reconnect Pixelesq and approve it" mean?

Your connection is missing a permission that the request needs. Remove Pixelesq in your assistant, add it again and click Approve.

Can I undo a change an assistant made?

For pages, yes. See Restore a version.
