Rename your site, change its favicon and turn features on or off

Rename your site

1. In the sidebar, click settings, then General.
2. Under Project Name, change Name.
3. Click submit.

The new name shows across your dashboard. Your web address stays the same.

Change the icon and favicon

1. Under Project Icon, paste an image link into Icon, or click Choose from library.
2. Click submit.

The icon shows in your dashboard and in browser tabs on your live site.

Find your free address

• Every site gets a free address that ends in .sites.app.pixelesq.ai. You pick the first part when you create the site.
• To see it, open the avatar menu, click Account, then Projects, and look in the Site column. Once your own domain is connected, the column shows your domain.
• The free address can't be changed later. To use a different address, connect a custom domain.

Turn features on or off

1. On General, scroll to Features.
2. Flip a switch. Scheduled Publishing lets you pick a time for pages and entries to go live, and Remove Watermark hides the Pixelesq badge.
3. The change saves at once, and a message says the feature turned on or off.

Limits

• Only owners can open General.
• Renaming doesn't change your address or your domain.
• Browser tabs take their icon from Project Icon. The Favicon field in context doesn't change it.
• Browsers can keep showing an old favicon for a while after you change it.
• If you skipped the address step when you created the site, the free address uses a random 10-character name.
• Turning off Scheduled Publishing cancels publishes that are waiting to go out.

Common questions

What does "Name must be at least 2 characters." mean?

The name is too short. Type at least two characters.

What does "Failed to update project" mean?

The change didn't save. Try again.

How do I schedule a page?

Turn on Scheduled Publishing, then see Publish a page or blog post.

Why does the badge still show?

Remove Watermark works on paid plans and during your trial. See Remove the Pixelesq badge from your site.
